1. Controller
Europäische Goethe-Wege e.V., Burgplatz 4, DE-99423 Weimar, Germany, info@goetheways.eu.
2. Hosting
This website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich (Germany). When you visit the site, the server processes technical access data (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type) in server log files on the basis of Art. 6 (1) f GDPR, for the secure and stable operation of the website.
3. Contact form and email
If you contact us via the contact form or by email, the data you provide (name, email address, subject, message) is processed solely to handle your enquiry (Art. 6 (1) b and f GDPR) and is deleted once the enquiry is concluded, unless statutory retention periods apply.
4. Newsletter
Newsletter registration uses a double opt-in procedure: you receive a confirmation email and are subscribed only after confirming. Legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) a GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link in every issue.
5. Member area
Login credentials for the protected member area are issued to member organisations. Login data is processed to provide access to internal documents and announcements (Art. 6 (1) b GDPR).
6. Map services
The geographic map on the page “Goethe and Europe” is provided using OpenStreetMap. Map tiles are loaded from the OpenStreetMap Foundation (UK) only after you actively select the geographic map view; at that moment your IP address is transmitted to OpenStreetMap servers. No map data is loaded before your action (privacy by design).
7. Cookies
This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Technically necessary cookies may be set for the member login session. Should analytics be introduced, it will operate only with your prior consent via the cookie settings.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR), as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — for the controller’s seat, the Thüringer Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit (TLfDI), Erfurt.
Accessibility Statement
Europäische Goethe-Wege e.V. endeavours to make this website accessible in accordance with the principles of Directive (EU) 2016/2102 and the European standard EN 301 549, applying the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformance level AA — on a voluntary basis, as a candidate Cultural Route of the Council of Europe.

Cookie Settings
This website currently sets no tracking or advertising cookies. Technically necessary cookies are limited to the member login session.
External content — the OpenStreetMap geographic view — is loaded only after your explicit action and can always be avoided by using the illustrated map instead.
With the launch of the website, a consent manager will be provided here, allowing you to view and change your cookie preferences at any time. Should analytics be introduced, it will run only after your consent.
