1. Controller
Europäische Goethe-Wege e.V., Burgplatz 4, DE-99423 Weimar, Germany, info@goetheways.eu.
2. Hosting
This website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich (Germany). When you visit the site, the server processes technical access data (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type) in server log files on the basis of Art. 6 (1) f GDPR, for the secure and stable operation of the website.
3. Contact form and email
If you contact us via the contact form or by email, the data you provide (name, email address, subject, message) is processed solely to handle your enquiry (Art. 6 (1) b and f GDPR) and is deleted once the enquiry is concluded, unless statutory retention periods apply.
4. Newsletter
Newsletter registration uses a double opt-in procedure: you receive a confirmation email and are subscribed only after confirming. Legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) a GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link in every issue.
5. Member area
Login credentials for the protected member area are issued to member organisations. Login data is processed to provide access to internal documents and announcements (Art. 6 (1) b GDPR).
6. Interactive map
The digital map on the page “Goethe’s Stops in Europe” is embedded from an external service operated at netzkolchose.de. The map is loaded only after you actively click to load it, or after you have given consent via the cookie settings; at that moment your IP address and browser data are transmitted to that provider. No map data is loaded before your action (privacy by design). The illustrated map view is served from this website and transmits no data to third parties.
7. External links to tourism routes
Under “Tourism Offers” we link to routes hosted on external portals (outdooractive.com, routedegoethe.fr). These links open in a new tab; data is transmitted to those providers only once you follow a link, and their own privacy policies then apply. We have no influence over the processing carried out there.
8. Cookies
This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Technically necessary cookies may be set for the member login session. Should analytics be introduced, it will operate only with your prior consent via the cookie settings.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR), as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — for the controller’s seat, the Thüringer Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit (TLfDI), Erfurt.

Cookie Settings
This website currently sets no tracking or advertising cookies. Technically necessary cookies are limited to the member login session.
External content — the interactive digital map embedded from netzkolchose.de — is loaded only after your explicit action and can always be avoided by using the illustrated map instead.
With the launch of the website, a consent manager will be provided here, allowing you to view and change your cookie preferences at any time. Should analytics be introduced, it will run only after your consent.
