Goethe Society in Weimar e.V.
The aim and purpose of the Goethe Society in Weimar, founded in 1885, is to bring Goethe to the fore in his current significance. The society has over 2,000 members all over the world. The Society brings together Goethe enthusiasts from over 40 countries and all areas of society and promotes exchange and dialogue between an academic debate and an interested public.
