Goethe Society Switzerland
The Goethe Society Switzerland was founded in 1997. Since then, we have been organising scientific conferences and other events dedicated to the study of Goethe’s personality, poetry, science, world view and impact. The annual newsletter contains information on the events and general ‘Notes on Goethe’, for which editor Dr Fritz Egli is responsible. In 2023, the two-volume work Goethe’s Swiss Travels, which also contains 25 suggested walks, was published as a result of the Board’s many years of commitment.
1.) Presentation of the publication Goethe's Swiss Travels at the German Embassy in Bern, with Barbara Naumann, Vice-President of the GGS, actor Michael Schwyter from Stäfa and President Margrit Wyder
